Lealt Falls House is set near the village of Staffin which is approx. 5 miles away, which has a convenience store with a café attached, and various art galleries and eateries. There is also a petrol station.
The main town on Skye is Portree which is approx. 12 miles away, it consists of tourist shops, supermarkets, leisure centres, petrol stations, local hospitals, GP surgeries and dentists. There are also weekly markets in the square during the high season offering fresh local produce.

A car is essential for the island. We do have local buses offering regular services throughout the island and to the mainland if needed. The bus service is Stagecoach and you can find their timetable on their website. You can also use local taxi services, which may be expensive as the island is vast.

Portree is 10.6 miles from the holiday home, while Kyle of Lochalsh is 25.5 miles from the property.

Lealt Falls House is set in the dramatic and scenic area of the Trotternish Peninsula.
